Mine is a bit simpler - horn button, copper ring, spring, nut, and steering wheel. The copper ring sits in the horn button. I think it's supposed to be a slight interference fit, but my horn button is a little worn. When I re-wired the horn, I put a connection in about 2" from the horn button so I didn't have to pull the entire wire to pull the steering wheel. I found last night that if I push that too far down, turning the steering wheel will cause the horn to blow intermittently. By simply pulling the wire up slightly and then re-assembling the horn button, problem solved.
