Update: I had some free time so I started to prepare to take the back wheels and drums off. So I took the pin in the axle nut off, which broke 
, and then went to loosen the axle nut. I thought it would require the breaker bar, but to my surprise, and horror, it required no effort to loosen. So I went to the other side and discovered the axle nut was a different size! The one was 1 1/8 but this one was bigger. It also had no pin! So I'm going to get a bigger socket tomorrow and a hub puller so I will update then.
