Some more progress, and fun times bolting parts together! Last week I put 2 coats of black semigloss and then a final coat of gloss black on the fenders and hood. I mounted the fenders and a handfull of other engine compartment pieces that attach to the fenders. It all still needs some straightening on the panel gaps, but at least things are together.
I also mounted the hood, but if I close the hood, it is currently mounted too far towards the back of the car, and rubs on the firewall. To pull it forward, do I have to loosed the hinge to the firewall, or can I adjust this from the hood/hinge interface?
Here is a pic of how things are starting to come together again. I also drained the water I had in the cooling system, and replaced with a 50/50 destilled water and anti-freeze mix. Getting ready for winter!
