Tobs, In my experience you've reached the right decision - ignore it and just keep motoring. I've been driving vintage carbureted cars since I got my license in 1957 and live in a climate with spring and fall cold and humid weather, and I can only recall maybe two or three times in all those years and miles that I experienced what I though to be carburetor icing. And it was over and done in less than a minute.
