After the clutch shaft is out, you can remove the 5 bolts holding the tailshaft onto the transmission body. Of course if there is an OD here, this gets more difficult. When the 5 bolts are out, you can remove the 2/3 selector and the synchro thing(sorry, forgot the word) Between the clutch shaft and the intermediate shaft is a spring of some sort. I guess this preloads the bearings? See picture 10. Wiggle out the tail shaft, and out it comes! All pretty easy so far. And FUN!
