thanks for the advice. I look forward to measuring them.
tonight was extracting the rotting cup from the exhaust manifold and drilling the broken bolts out and tapping the holes. should have left the bolts in there to plug the holes...but I didn't like the way it looked.
will have to measure the hole and find a suitable freeze plug to fill it back in
