I ordered more of the vinyl. i love that this stuff is cheap LOL!
i did one of the window moldings. it turned out decent enough. I wouldn't take it to pebble beach, obviously, but it'll do for me. it has some defects and the paint under the vinyl bubbled in a few places due to the heat gun. 7 more to go....whew! the more I do, the better I get, but if i was you i would get a professional if you want it to be perfect. the vinyl isnt the problem, its my skills. i just like learning new things.
i posted alittle bigger pictures, maybe you can make out the defects this time. and you can see the difference from the black it used to be. i like the wood better.
the last picture is of how it looked before i started. i saw the wood grain is WAY better.
