Got the mount for the spare fabricated. The tire mount pivots down low and the spare needs to move out only a few inches at the top to clear the trunk as it opens. An old piece of Packard steering column provided the necessary heavy walled tubing. Then went on to make the two little bumper pans and mount them to the body.

Next up for the sake of an attactive visual to keep motivation, I worked up the wheel configuation. 1978 Chrysler aluminum wheel (dished like the disk wheels of the twenties), plus a 50 Ultramatic turbine, plus a 61 Lark poverty horn button ring, plus a 57 Clipper horn button.

Still need to work out the trunk latch--the tool box is holding the lid down for the photos.

The next chapter will be working out all of the details for the grill. When that is completed there will be a trip to Philly to the platers.
