Thanks Packard Don and David. You've given me plenty to think about. I really like the idea of the drilling jig. I've done some Googling and discovered there are some commercial ones available. They don't look very robust but I might get one and give it a try. Does anyone have an opinion on something like this?http://biggatortools.blog/standard-v-drillguide-18-38/
