After a year plus soaking the one stuck piston from both the top and bottom and utilizing every penetrant known to man, heat and cold, I decided it was time for drastic measures.

I drilled 4 , 1/4" holes 12, 3, 6 and 9 O'clock very close to the outer rim of the piston. I was able to drill down into the ring grooves. I filled the holes with Kroil, heated the piston until it boiled the Kroil. This allowed the Kroil to get to the rings. I repeated this cycle several times and with a big drift and a hammer, I was finally able to drive it out.

Amazingly there is no damage to the bore and no rust.

Now on to the cam.
