Wish you all the best on this project. These are terrific road cars when all sorted out and a lot of fun to drive. To whet your appetite check out some old road tests and be sure to see the different videos about torsion level from back in the day that are on you tube.

Really do recommend a comprehensive inventory before you begin and lay out all the pieces around the car. Endless searching for doodads kills motivation. Yes, you can remove the curved glass or you could commit suicide with a dull butterknife. Both equally enjoyable. Likewise the stainless strips on the roof rails.

A fun field trip might be to stop by my place --about 4 hours away- and we can wander around my 56 400, put it up on the lift, take it out and flog it so you have a good idea what you are undertaking.
