Re: Resurrecting a 1951 Henney-Packard Parts Car

One of our illustrious parts dealers, after at least two years of not getting it shipped, finally sent the transmission for this car but what is it? It is certainly not from 1951-1954 but it is also not drilled on the sides for mounts so not 1950 or earlier either. Whatever it is, it was a very expensive waste of money, especially in the shipping. It is about 28” long when the one for my car should be about 21” and has a totally different u-joint flange and rear housing. The last photo - and the one I had sent them for reference - is what it should look like.
