Re: Resurrecting a 1951 Henney-Packard Parts Car

I took a little break this afternoon from moving racks of parts and worked a little on the Henney. Mainly I want to take in the wheels to get the new tires mounted which I’ll need when it comes time to install the rear end. I thought I had three loose wheels so I was going to leave one tire mounted as the spare but in the end it turned out that I had only two so had to remove both fronts.

One thing I would like to do while here is to take out the rear stabilizer as it has very bent connecting rods with one even being bent to a J shape! Taking out the stabilizer will let me see if there is enough swing to remove the broken gas tank bolt which otherwise does not appear that it can be removed.
