Got a little more work done today in wire brushing the wheels to get off all the loose stuff and on the two without tires, to make sure that the seating surface is good enough for tubeless tiles. However, I had a thought yesterday that it may have to have tubes as the beauty rings probably won’t seat all the way down with the larger diameter of the tubeless stems so we’ll see what the shop says.

One last wheel was sat aside until tomorrow when I realized that it was past dinner time! I started it but it is the worst one so will take some extra work. On the two with tires, i can only hope that the edge of the rim was protected enough by the tire.

The two mounted wheels had 7:00 X 16 6-ply tires but the ones going on are the proper 7.50 X 16 and are 8-ply as that was all I could find that didn’t break the bank.
