Re: Resurrecting a 1951 Henney-Packard Parts Car

Thank you, Howard. That’s what I suspected and I think I have another with the single wire if I can find it. I also have the single-wire one here with the rubber cover but it’s gear is totally different than the other. Even though it has only a single wire, its number is also BK322097 but maybe the second wire is tucked under the boot.. No EC, of course, since my car is a 1951.

I noticed also the the angle of the gears between the two is different. One angles one way; the other angles the other way.

Come to think of it, there was one on the replacement transmission but in terrible condition that might lend some clues! It was from a Henney Junior, though, so not sure of the rear end ratio or even how much that matters.

It’s 15 degrees out and the power just went out but its our main breaker rather than the actual power! Something is tripping it.
