This is the next question I am trying to figure out. The fuel pump on the left was on the car when I bought it. No stampings on it except that it is an AC fuel pump. The one on the right I found several years ago (AC 7330) which I think is correct one with the air dome and vacuum dome.

The fuel filter is a Carter 2146397 which I was told is correct for this this car. I bought the sintered filter from Max Merritt but I believe I still need the inner spring to hold the sintered filter in place since the filter just rattles around in the glass bowl.

Is this the correct location for the fuel filter? Before the inlet side of the fuel pump? I have seen later Packards what had the fuel filter just before the carburetor.
