Condition of interior upon purchase several years ago and as removed this week
(Photo numbers last 4 digits for reference )
0333 are tacks that have been riding around for for the last 84 years waiting to be used for the completion of windlace replacement... Thanks to the original installer as I no longer need to find a source.

9116 is the door post with windlace tacks and 18 ga brads protruding out. It appears that the windlace was installed then the inner upholstery was brad nailed to the wood backers .
Anyone have info on this operation. It's kind of scary to take a brad nailer to the surface of the new upholstery to attach the back panel in place.
Thanks Larry
