Commenced working on the interior side panel to head liner meeting area,

As mentioned the smaller windlace trim was nailed to the side frame,

I found that they used shimming cardboard strips to provide leveling of the surfaces. (Use that process for sheetrock work and had not thought about using it for this application.)

As you can see I only released a little section to allow access to the headliner to trim a piece for color match.

Check out the color change over the last 85 years.
