Thanks for the information and tips. I likely have a while before I get to upholstery. I'm getting close to my first order of business which was locating and obtaining the various missing parts. Fortunately, there wasn't a lot that was missing. I'll still have things that need to be replaced, but most of that is readily available...rubber components etc..

The next step is to get everything working as it should. Again, I'm in decent shape here since most things work...it's the "as it should" part that will take a bit. Things like window regulators that haven't moved in 60 years that will need attention...cleaning, lubing etc..

After that, I'll tackle the cosmetics.
