My 1937 115-c. Front shoes were riveted and seemed like original in good shape. I used kanter shoes also . I had to open up the new shoes up to fit the slightly thicker shoes The original shoes are slightly thinner maybe thinking back .040 but the big difference is on mine the tops were reinforced on each side wherethey attach to the top holding pin to take up the side to side play. So I made up spacers to take up the play front and back. Yes pins.
