I agree that it's a browser gremlin as it does it only on my iPad and not limited to this site. Of course, I did close and re-open the browser and even rebooted the iPad itself to no avail! I mentioned it only in case anyone else had experienced such as odd thing which is something I had never seen before.

Maybe a little bug here, though, as it won't let me enter about COLON blank. It keeps putting about;blank with a semicolon.
