No, not a clear one. Mine won't relate either as it is the newer one out of the '53 Patrician engine compartment. On yours though look carefully on the stamping that holds the screws, I bet there's a B for battery, an A for armature, and an F for field stamped or etched into the metal. The ground of course simply goes with one of the mounting screws. You may need to wire brush the metal and use a strong light to see the letters. On mine they are actually on the back too, so look there first as that is usually less affected by soilage.
If the wires are too dirty to see what is what, using a test light will show you a circuit from the generator.
