Made a change to the clippers brakes as it had a single master cylinder decided to add dual master cylinder. There is a kit avaible from one of the Studebaker venders but decided I would do my own.
First a lot of research to find a master cylinder that would have lines on correct side and designed for drum brakes without metric fittings.
Found a AMC part that filled my needs fabricated bracket to mount using stock bolts holes in frame. Had to enlarge hole in floor to check new master cylinder fluid level.
Adapted the linkage with the aid of new clevis from McMaster Carr. Installed all parts I fabricated including the modifications to brake lines made new cover for floor bled brakes and driveway tested now waiting for nice day to road test the pedal feels good.
Prior to this I had the Hydrovac rebulit and recjhecked was not satisfied with resukts thats when I decided to make change. I installed a manual brake pedal linkage as the power and standard brakes use different linkage.
