Your advice taken and a good point. I have come along way (5+ year restoration) and should not cut corners.
If I could I would send the fenders off to have new ones made or have these rebuilt but as we all are aware funds don't allow us at times. Plus if I did I wouldn't be able to drive the car around because of the fear of rocks and what not flinging up on the running boards and other areas of the car.
Maybe it is me being impatient or whatever. But I love driving her once again and getting the thumbs up.
Now where is this cash tree everyone talks about.
