Can someone with intact hinge pillar weather stripping on the front doors (53-54 Sedan or similar) take a picture of what it looks like at the top when the seal meets the windshield stainless?

I'm replacing those seals, as the ones I had originally came out of the Yocum stash, and I think they were really old Steele Rubber ones and were a bit stiff. I know I had to trim them to get the fender to sit correctly which was a common issue. But was never really happy with the fitment.

The old design from Steel one was just thick/solid, and didnt have that relief on the backside making it hard to compress between the fender and the cowl. The new design has a relief channel on the cowl side, so I think it will conform much easier when installing the fender. So I don't think anything has to be trimmed to make the fender sit flush.

Also, I never liked how the seal terminated at the top of the hinge pillar, so want to see on other cars where that little top flap of seal material sits in reference to the windshield trim stainless.

This is one of the main reasons I pulled the fender off the car so I could install this seal correctly.

Once the driver's side is done, I'll repeat with the other side. Just trying to only have one fender off at a time from an alignment and space perspective. It also allows me to take care of other underhood tasks that are easier with the fenders off.
