Is the eyelet for the hook bent on the side or just an optical illusion or camera angle?
Were you able to lift the broken section straight off the pump body or did you need to tilt and unhook the diaphragm actuator rod from the internal hook in the pump. If it lifted straight off I wonder if the hook from the cam lever came out of the rod eyelet and rod was resting on top of the mechanism and hitting the top of the casting. What does the inner top surface look like if you separate the halves?
