Snazzy and summery. And I like the two-tone that was introduced back into the paint schemes in '41. The 40s are all one color and a certain authority says NO PINSTRIPING (was done at the factory, since I know my car was pinstriped by Earle C Anthony SFO). If you look at Page 1 of this blog you can see a nice combo from the 20s-30s style of painting the Packard spear and the circumference of the sidemount covers in a different color. So this is something close to the non-metallic Cuban Tan and then a dark chocolate brown metallic for the accent. It caught all the highlights. Looked great on the car, but is not correct. But the nice thing about a convertible is that you get a second color in the top (black or khaki, not sure about white). Those big white whitewalls also perk it up. There was a beautiful 1941 Conv Sedan in Palo Alto that was I think Gray with light green leather belonging to a gentleman with a short (2 syllable) Italian name. It had black walls and looked fabulous. Maybe black top as well. I had 15 in wheels on the car at the time and he left me a note. "Get 16 in wheels on your car so it doesn't look like a Basset Hound."
