this would be why they went to 40 splines instead of this old 20 spline setup. reading over the STBs got me to looking at stuff.

maybe i can find a better one. i am sure it would work, but it sure looks like it will fail at some point.

this is the piece that goes into the front oil pump and works with the torque converter.
