got the carb from ebay in on saturday. i was not that happy with it. the dye job was good, but the rebuild was crap. bent springs, dirty springs, bent floats, stuck atmospheric vent valve, and would not engage the secondaries. The choke was not wound either and the choke valve was not set to the proper gaps. and of course the crappy chock design is plastic and broke when i turned it. i glued it back and turned it by hand after that. anyone got one that isn't broke or know where to get it (part number 7000193) google no go.

got 50 bucks back on the carb from ebay.

i was able to correct all this with my better daytona rebuild kit which is also ethanol resistant and has a better needle design.


also got the other head done.


have the parts laid out that i want powdercoated black also.
