A lot of guys overlook this when re-painting their cars and end up with a nicely restored car, but with the wrong paint. I see way too many 1940 and 1941 Packards that have omitted this important ingredient to the paint and miss out on a finish that could have much more depth if they had followed what Packard had originally specified.


Or... they go too far the other way and get a paint with a large modern metallic flake in it and end up with a car that looks equally wrong (Candy Apple). Chicory Green over Grove Green is on my short list for the '41.
