We had an early "spring day" yesterday in England and so my Packard made its first appearance into the open air since October last year. Winter has been a busy time with me carrying out the following jobs;

- Repair crack in manifold and re-fit
- Re-chrome front and rear bumpers, overriders, rear lamp housings.
- Oil changes to engine, gearbox, differential, driveshaft
- Repair cracked cast iron driving lamp brackets
- Remove,repair, recolour and re-fit all leather upholstery
- Replace carpets
- Re-wire lighting, remove modern switchgear and replace with steering mounted original switch
- Repaint bumper carriers, rear light stalks and rack
- New oak slats to the rack
- Refit glass to rear windshield

I only have to tidy the wiring to the rear lights and re-fit the refurbished trunk rack then we are set for a run out. Maybe next weekend if the good weather here holds out.
