Just want to say that I enjoy your website for your project immensely! Keep it up!

I removed my engine as well but as I am only going to clean and paint, not strip it, my job is much easier than yours! I am still cleaning the bare frame from years of caked on grease and dirt. Removing an engine is always a daunting task especially one as big as ours. I practised on my very much smaller vw beetle engine and can remove that in 1 hour easily all by myself! Must say that having removed the front end does definitely make removing the packard engine easy.
