Hi

You can have that starter rebuilt at Strobel's Auto Electric in Pavilion,N.Y. They're at the junction of Route 19 and 20, their phone number is (585) 584-3187

All the chassis and body parts for the '58 Packard are essentially the same a Studebaker. '58 was the first year with the one piece driveshaft. Your car is the 120.5" wheelbase Y-body sedan, shared with the President. You might check to see if the driveshaft interchanges with '58 and later Hawks, also built on the same chassis frame.
