Is there a specific reason for using the Chevy booster setup or is that only available as a matched set with the pedal. Would the MPB booster that others have bought and might now want to move work with the Chevy pedal?

I pulled the entire assembly off of a 1979 Chevy here in Pahrump about 10 years ago with the idea that it SHOULD work on the Panther. I didn't know, but it looked like it would. Just recently, I "paid" Lance for helping me with some carpentry by giving him the Chevy setup. He did most of the install as described above, but validated that the Chevy unit would indeed work.

As to using just the pedal side, if you are willing to mount the booster/MC on the firewall, there are all kinds of aftermarket (hot rod) booster/MC & pedal assemblies available that would work. Of course the idea of the MPB unit is that it goes in the stock BTV location. The Chevy pedal would definitely NOT work with the MPB in the original BTV location.
