we are not worried about the originality of the car, other than the sheet metal body, which is in excellent shape. Now if I was involved with this project from the beginning it would be a different story but since the car was torn apart 20 years ago and after numerous people have been working on it, I finished it off with the electrical. has original bumpers hood ornament headlights trim etc, we want a good reliable engine and tranny to swap out the tired olds. that was put into the car. so I'm thinking the chevy 350. I don't care if everyone else uses this engine, actually it makes it better for me because its cheaper. anyway this car has to get done and I would appreciate it if you all would cut the squabbling and get to the point.
