Over the last 2 days, 2 friends and I remated the Panther body to it's chassis after 3-1/2 years off. The chassis is 100% done with modifications I detailed before both here and on my website. The body is about 99% done as are the front fenders, trunk lid and hood, but the latter are yet to be painted professionally.
We washed off the Pahrump, NV dust from the chassis and spot painted a few places with chassis black.
Here's the body on its 3 custom made sawhorses where it's been for 3-1/2 years.
Here's how we arranged it in order to roll the chassis under it and then align it.
No pictures of the body on effort because it was basically the reverse of the body off I extensively documented here at that time, but with all new cushions and hardware. Here's the proud crew -- great guys to work with (L-R: Roy Crunk, 1956 400 owner, me, Ken Brownell, 1955 Clipper owner).
