Is that the original pedal still in position above the rubber pad? In the engine compt, can you get an estimate yet on how close the booster or actually any of the new brake apparatus will come to the steering column and could it be raised even more if a section of firewall was modified or a different plate was made to raise and be able to use the same new 4:1 pedal arrangement.
