Looks great! I hate to tell you this now, but a Ford 300 6 balancer will fit the Packard straight eights, as well as the performance 302 Ford zero-balance dampeners.

Also, I'd like to chat with you about oiling system modifications, as I'm thinking a full-flow oil conversion will be easy to do by blocking off the outlet on the oil pump and drilling and tapping the pump and the block to accept remote oil filter lines. I also have a few ideas on replacing the oil pump with something a little more easy to find and has a lot more flow.

It's also a little late, but I'm wondering about your engine mounting. The front mount on the '50 and back engines is a pretty good design for what it is, is there a reason why you didn't use it?
