Yeah, that's the price you pay to play with a/c and to make it look like it would be an original fixture. That's why I like the straight eight cars, plenty of room!

Incidentally, if you leave the screws off of the top of the box that's facing the firewall you'll make it a lot easier to work on the heater if you ever need to, without removing the whole thing.
