Thanks for the additional info on the heater vent. I must say, it does look a little better and more finished than the Packard implementation but didn't realize the seat didn't move. That would be a big negative in my book. Guess those in command didn't care about drivers much--unless they were all picked to be the same size and fit the car. I know Packard had seats that didn't move also, but wouldn't think the number of different drivers would have been that large in their case.

Interesting the car used the Chrysler type generator/steering pump combo. Don't remember too many over here using the single unit. Also power brakes look to be a Chrysler derivative. The brown plastic AC/heater plenum sure stands out in the first car, but not the second. Is there a different year involved or just more detailing by the current owner of the second car?
