NMH Day @ Berry had some 500-600 cars in attendance. A wide ranging display of disparate makes and models, from Rat Rods to a Mclaren F1. There were 5 packards in attendance, 4 from our club while the other(a '40 120 Touring Sedan) was previously owned by club members in the '80's and '90's then it went to awedding car business. About 41 miles to get there for me, including down the side of a mountain for 5 miles, most of that in 2nd gear. There was also another very narrow, twisting and turning section of about 8 miles. Avoided that on the return trip which stretched out to 48 miles but a much safer and less nerve wracking option. Packard ran well, didn't overheat, maybe it helped the top temp was only about 20C? But still going to have Peter Packard do his flushing thing in the near future.
