Tim. Jack Behn was indeed Mr. Sturm-Ruger in addition to being Mr.'41 Packard. He was a senior executive at the gunmaker for many years and was an avid gun collector and lifetime NRA member. His collection of antique watches was probably one of the best in the country. I remember that he had a number of Packard company presentation watches. Wish I had bought one of them from him. Jack was just an all around great guy. I bought my first Packard, a 1940 110 sedan at age 23. One thing I needed was a generator. Being a novice, I had no idea of how to find parts for a 40 year old car (this was in 1980). I joined the Eastern Packard Club and met Jack. He invited me over his home and gave me a rebuilt generator for free. I was amazed by this act of generosity. Jack was a great friend and helped so many people in the Packard hobby over the years. I still miss seeing him at the shows.
