Boy it really is a shame to see a nice original car being chopped to create a worthless pile of junk. You have to drive a low mileage junior car to appreciate how good they were.

Today I was talking to someone who rods 50's cars. He told me that the cost of chopping the steering and converting to aftermarket junk is less than the cost of restoring just the steering wheel and column. So all of this car chopping is just generic look alike scrap metal. And since they drive like shxt I don't know why anybody would buy one.

Some of the brake upgrades seem warranted given that new drums are not available. After all, you have to be able to stop the darn thing.
