BDC, I saw that same vehicle for sale on another site and it was said to be a Superior, not a Henney. That would be a surprise as Packard's contract to supply Henney with chassis for such vehicles was an exclusive supply contract. Superior supplied Studebaker almost exclusively in the 20s and early 30s, then ambulances/hearses primarily on GM chassis, mostly Cadillac with an occasional Oldsmobile or Pontiac on occasion. I believe they went belly-up about 1974.

Here's the link: same vehicle? Clearly says its by Superior.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-Other-Ambulance-1939-packard-superior-funeral-hearse-ambulance-limo-a-true-time-capsule-/261659164357?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3cec19fec5&item=261659164357&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
