Yes it would seem that caalifornia Packards, post war and otherwise are in good shape and cheap compared to back east. I never even seen one when i grew up in Indianapolis.

Most of the packards that are cheap back there are in this condition.
part of the landscape already. half gone to rust at best.http://peoria.craigslist.org/cto/4728613324.html

though it would be nice to clean up and get running . ( it's a Henney!)

the one in Fresno i am going to go see

then this one but wants too much , but still a good price.http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/4742841822.html

this one i am going to check out too! he wanted 4 grand a year ago , and alas post war 200's are not worth much here. i saw a few go in great shape for five hundred.http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/4759002495.html

I am not looking for a 300 . is so only for a motorhttp://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/cto/4755405889.html

I need a windshield for my 52 Deluxe! i may horse trade with the guy in Lancaster cause that windshield if in good shape will work ( i believe )http://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/cto/4756026119.html

i cant find a windshield anywhere out here.
also my 52 Dlx came with a k400 motor but alas it has a 51 288 (j200) in it now.
i would like to get that too

i love my 52 deluxe aka Betty Blue! and she deserves to be but back as intended.
I may half to get her painted back east though .. air laws prohibit getting her back to her Yosemite blue metal flake here in California

sHE IS HALF PREPed now for a new paint job. if you guys have any thoughts on 'H' Yosemite Blue- it would be appreciated.

i wish i could spend five grand on a california air resource board approved paint job. but i cant

hey thanks you guys!
