By chance I spotted this butchered
1948 Henney-Packard “Hurst” for sale on Facebook and in looking at the photos, I recognized the license plate. I owned this car for many, many years and sold it to the elderly son of San José’s Packard dealer some years ago. I wondered what became of it but I never expected this!
Here’s what it looked like when I sold it but not sure there’s much of an improvement now! It WAS a rare Nu-3-Way for which I took great pains to locate the table which was missing when I bought it.
For those who can’t see the Facebook listing, here it is and yes, the landau bars are installed incorrectly.
