Roger, note that an 1101 has a 136" wheelbase so unless the measurement of wheelbase was accurate to within less than 1 inch, it could be an 1101. Easy clues to determine if 1101 or 1103 would be the headlight lenses (flat on 1101, veed on 1103) and of course the physical size of the motor and the motor number.

For those years when Phil Hill was offering the running board covers they were only made in 1 length for the longest wheelbase, for all the others you had to cut and splice.
