It wasn't and the dot right of N would indicate a gear start trans from 54. Be interesting to know if it is an actual gear start that was transplanted or maybe a later TU and they used the GS indicator or is another make trans entirely. The entire 54 column would be a fairly easy drop in on a 48 and maybe they had a 54 parts car that gave its all including engine and trans since it says both were rebuilt.
