Yes, understood thanks. Did the Windsor plant produce a limited range of body styles? For efficiency it wouldn't make sense for Windsor to replicate all the body styles of Detroit... just the most common styles.

These 818 coupes in question are definitely from Detroit. It's my understanding that the same body was placed on the Eight, Super Eight and Twelve from 35 through 39 to complete the 2/4 coupes of that era. Maybe experts could clarify. Perhaps it was a sensible production decision to limit that to the Detroit plant, with a small run of RHDs as Mal suggests?
