I wondered that too. Seems if the fastest method to arrive at this car would be to begin with either the 127" wheelbase '48-'50 Custom or '49-'50 Super Deluxe convertible chassis frame and body structure as a basis. Re-skinning the quarter panels and doors with whatever door jam modifications and the 21st Series front clip would accomplish the major sheet metal changes. Adding '42 model year instrument panel, radiator grille and other details to complete the look.

The chassis frame and body structure are unique to the convertible. It would require considerable welding and fitting to make a 20th-21st Series club sedan body and chassis function as the same as the 22nd-23rd Series models cited.

It would be of interest to know how and what components they used to build this car.
